RSI Materials Engineering has a highly specialized professional engineering staff whose experience encompasses applied mechanical and engineering disciplines. RSI can provide an independent expert opinion on failures, material quality and manufacturing processes. Our services are tailored to meet our client needs in three different capacities including product support, failure analysis and routine material evaluations.

Our experienced staff of licensed engineers offers a comprehensive consultation package. RSI can define the failure problem, recommend the best course of action for analysis, perform a comprehensive failure analysis using an extensive array of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, report the investigation results and, finally, recommend a solution. RSI is flexible and can provide a full comprehensive failure analysis or can provide any of the individual steps.

RSI Materials Engineering is located in Omaha, Nebraska, where we occupy an 18,000 sq.ft. facility. We are fully equipped to provide standard material evaluations, in accordance with ASTM, NIST, and SAE standards. We also have the necessary equipment to perform physical evaluations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as most composites.
